Federal Medical Centre Doctors, Bayelsa Embark on a 3 days warning strike


Resident doctors at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, have embarked on a three-day warning strike to protest irregularities in the payment of their salaries.


The President, Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria, Dr. Okoye Chukwunonso, said on Thursday that they (doctors) had been receiving only 48 per cent of their salaries for the past four months.
